For a road journey from Delhi to Agra, Ayodhya, Prayagraj, and Varanasi, one gets to explore right up to the very trenches of the cultural and spiritual hub of North India, wherein lies the charm of every single city.
A good enough place to set this feverish capital off is the metropolis, vividly modern and ancient. The Red Fort is filled with history and serves as a UNESCO World Heritage Site for Mughal architecture. Additionally, there is a visit to one of the biggest mosques in India—the Jama Masjid. The Lotus Temple gets its name from its shape and brings a tranquility-imbued soothing component into the hustle and bustle of the city.
Situated 3–4 hours from Delhi, Agra is the city that hosts the wonderful Taj Mahal. Constructed from white marble, this mausoleum was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and has gained worldwide reputation for its extraordinary beauty and minute detailing. Another massive Agra Fort represents the glorious monuments of Agra, allowing insight into the Mughal fortifications and royal life. There is a beautiful view across the Yamuna River from Mehtab Bagh Gardens to one of the finest views of the Taj Mahal.
The drive from Agra to Ayodhya takes five hours; this place has deep religious importance as the mythic birthplace of Lord Rama. Ancient temples are not left out in Ayodhya; it is said that the complex of Ram Janmabhoomi is situated here. Further, the presence of the serene Sarayu River enhances the significance here, according to Hindu religious perceptions.
A 3 hour drive from Ayodhya will bring you to Prayagraj, earlier known as Allahabad. This town is an area where Ganga, Yamuna, and mythological Saraswati all come together as the Sangam. Once every 12 years, this city is the venue for Kumbh Mela where tens of thousands of people gather and transform Prayagraj into the largest pilgrimage destination. Other spots within the city limits are the Allahabad Fort and Anand Bhavan, which happened to be the home of one-time Nehru, Jawaharlal.
A four-hour drive from eastern Uttar Pradesh brings one to Varanasi, one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world. Then there is Varanasi—synonymous with its many ghats along the Ganges, offering the most surreal spiritual experience with its everyday rituals and ceremonies. While, on the other hand, there are so many temples in Tripura, through whose small lanes one gets entry into the religious and cultural center of India.
It’s perfect for a flexible and immersive travel itinerary that takes one on an experiential journey through the iconic cities, each one uniquely contributing to the rich tapestry of heritage and spirituality that is Northern India.

Since prior my arrival in India was already prepared to wait for us, he respected the deal and all was accordingly the plan. We had a clean car and an excellent driver (Mr Kanhaiyalal) The driver is very obeyed and humble, always talk with respect and not to disturb you with anything. Was at our disposal all day and never complained. A country is defined by their people and for me India now the perception is higher. We had complimentary guides in 3 locations and were qualified and a pleasure. We felt always spoiled and protected. I didn't liked only 1 thing that I don't understand and is not my task. Is some kind of hate between the boss, driver, guides, comission,religion..or simply competition. I thank Mr Brijesh for ALL. Family holiday Udaipur - Chittogarh - Pushkar - Jaipur - Agra (Rajasthan) We used Mr Brijesh Kumar as a personal driver for 6 days during a family vacation from Udaipur to Agra. He is the owner of Rajastan Personal Driver Car Rental Service New Delhi India. From the first day, Mr Brijesh and his team provided a very safe, professional, and high quality service. His English fluency and communication skills was great for me and my family. The vehicle was of a very high standard. We used a Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The boot space comfortably fitted 2 big suitcases and 3 smaller bags (airline cabin baggage). It was always clean, smelt fresh and well maintained especially for long trips on the road when travelling between towns. It was a comfortable drive for 3 adults (driver included) and a small child to sleep on the back seat. As a personal rule, Mr Brijesh does not drive more than 80km on highways etc. He is very concerned about safety and we are happy to recommend him as a personal driver to family and friends when they visit India. Thank you Mr Brijesh for an amazing adventure and many enjoyable experiences on our Rajastan holiday.
